Job Summary
The Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney in Loudoun County, VA is currently seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney I. This position will prosecute felony, misdemeanor and all traffic charges in Loudoun County, its incorporated towns, and Dulles Airport. This position will also perform prosecutorial duties ranging from research to litigation.
Hiring salary is commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Juris Doctor Degree (JD) from an accredited law school and a license to practice in Virginia.
One year of experience is preferred, but not required. Civil litigation, applicable teaching experience, military service, and professional writing experience may be considered.
