With over 51 years of experience, this family-owned and operated company is looking to add a Remodeling Carpenter.

JOB SUMMARY

The Remodeling Carpenter will build, erect, install, and repair forms and structures, as needed, to assist with various types of construction projects.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day duties and responsibilities will change on a daily basis. The core tasks associated with the job are:

· Ensure that all work is being performed at the highest level of quality.

· Complete all work related to carpentry and other work done by the company.

· Install structures, such as windows and moldings.

· Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.

· Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures.

· Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.

· Keep Management informed throughout the day about the progress of the project.

· Upon arrival to the job site, confirm measurement and materials; must be able to correct any job site issues, such as incorrect measurements, material shortages.

· Own and maintain general hand tools required for Remodeling Carpenters.

· Maintain a clean job site.

Requirements

· Display workmanship that meets Company quality standards.

· *Good communication skills*

· Take accurate measurements.

· Must be dependable.

· Have and maintain a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license (for operation of a company vehicle).

· 1 years’ experience in finish carpentry with an additional 1 years’ experience in rough carpentry.

Physical Demands

· The ability to work in all weather conditions and to have a flexible work schedule.

· The ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.

· The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and, on rare occasions, move more than 75 pounds.
