Location: **Home Office** To plan, organize, and actively manage the Area sales activities (Ophthalmology) including appointment of independent sales distributors, meeting specific sales and profit objectives, increasing the current IRIDEX market share in the Area, opening new markets and expanding existing accounts in the Area for IRIDEX products and continuously training our distributors on the applications of our products through periodic field visits. Other duties as assigned by VP of International Sales . * Establish and develop independent Distributors to achieve established sales growth objectives.

* Develop and execute annual business plan for territory include, but not be limited to, historical business review of each market, specific sales targets and forecasts for each market, competitive analysis within the territory and creation of an expense budget for territory.

* Develop pricing structure for the assigned territory, in conjunction with the VP of International Sales

* Develop and execute programs that will provide the necessary backup for supporting sales within the territory.

* Call on prospective customers, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quote appropriate customer prices.

* Ensure complete and timely response, either written or verbal, to the needs of territory.

* Provide monthly report update of territory to VP of International Sales

* Develop and present training material as required for territory

* Select and monitor the distributors promoting IRIDEX products within territory

* Assist in the development and presentation of training material as required for territory

* Oversee hiring, training, development and motivation of distributors for territory.

* Prepare annual product forecast for each market in territory.

* Attain assigned sales quota.

* Assist in the development of corporate strategic planning as requested.

* Make periodic visits to the different markets as business conditions dictate.

* Perform other related duties as required.
