Job Description
This DevOps Engineer will be joining a team of 6 people. This person works closely with the Dev Ops Engineers & development teams as well as architects to develop, maintain, and streamlines automated build and release pipeline from code compilation, automated testing, to deploying releases to multiple environments. They will maintains source control branch strategies, build/release, branch merge process and documentations. They will lead initiatives to improve the build and deployment process, reporting, and reduce deployment time & increase release cycle per month. This person must come from an application or development background. Any HCL commerce or IBM WebSphere Commerce experience is a huge plus for his manager.
* HCL Commerce 9 Experience
* Experience with IBM Sterling Order Management Build & Deployment automation
* Experience with Mobile App IOS & Android CICD Build & Deployment
* Coming from an Azure cloud Environment is a big plus or cloud exposure
* 3 years of experience in DevOps, build engineering, release management, automated software deployment practices, or software development. DevOps from an application environment!
* Experience with design and configuration of continuous integration build system through collaboration with IT Development and Middleware teams
* Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Terraform programming and scripting languages. Red hat OCP is preferred!
* Experience with build automation, orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo & Bib Bucket, Gitlab
* Experience with WebSphere/HCL Commerce Build & Deployment automation or WebSphere Application Server Administration
* Experience with containerization, certificates management, Kafka, Zookeeper & Vaults & pipeline automation, Fisheye, Crucible, Performance & QA Test Tool Integrations
