Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Data Analyst to join one of our largest Aerospace Manufacturing companies sitting onsite in Burbank CA. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining data collection/analysis tools to capture key information and business insights as it relates to supply chain, manufacturing, operations, and financial performance.
Assess and complete new reporting requests and enhance existing reports
• Use structured and unstructured data from ERP and other systems to develop simple and meaningful data representations that support and fulfill the requests from business leaders
• Manage data modelling, visualizations, and analysis for existing and new reports
• Analyze complex data elements, extract, filter, and aggregate data through logical SQL queries and programming
Knowledge of Tableau and Python a plus
Knowledge of Infor XA ERP a plus
Bachelor's degree in an IT or Computer Science discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3 years of experience with Databases and Structure Query Language (SQL)
Programming skills to analyze that data
Advance skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Microsoft Excel Macros, MS Query, VBA, Microsoft SQL, Power BI
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and understanding of data flow between applications
Operations based manufacturing, inventory management, production costing and control, planning, and master scheduling experience
Financial analysis skills
