Hulu is seeking a Publicity Coordinator who will be an outstanding addition to our Hulu Originals Publicity team. You will play a fundamental role at Hulu by serving as the primary foundation of support in the promotion and marketing of Hulu Original Series, Documentaries and more. This position is front-and-center in the ideation, strategy and execution of publicity campaign launches, initiatives, and events. The right candidate for this role is someone energized by working in a fast-paced, creative environment, and excels at handling multiple vital projects and directives concurrently. This person should process strong communication, organizational and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities:

• Track media coverage/press clips and create publicity reports for internal and external circulation.
• Keep a finger on the pulse of entertainment and pop culture. Research industry trends and media opportunities to present to the wider team.
• Support PR executives with scheduling and maintaining calendars.
• Create and manage departmental resources including but not limited to: status reports, press lists, press site, POs and invoices, contracts, etc.
• Assist with budget management and planning for campaigns.
• Collaborate and work closely with internal cross-functional teams including marketing, media, creative, social, etc. on initiatives.
• Communicate directly with external stakeholders to coordinate talent travel, schedules, glam and other key logistics.

• Draft and manage press materials (i.e., PR strategies, loglines, press blasts and announcements, pitches etc.)
• Assist at industry and company events, including potential evenings and weekends.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year prior related experience in Publicity/Marketing at a platform, studio, or agency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Effective time management and organizational skills (with strong attention to detail), and ability to propose solutions to problems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suites, Google Suites, Outlook, etc.
• ONE TEAM attitude with the ability to collaborate well with team members at all management levels, to strengthen relationships and champion Hulu’s business goals.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $51,200 to $70,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
