Geotex Construction Services, Inc. an Employee Owned Company is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to Join our Team. Geotex is a site development contractor servicing Columbus and the surrounding area. We specialize is earthmoving, grading, underground utilites, and demolition for a wide range of projects.

This position would be responsible for hauling heavy equipment to job locations throughout Columbus and surrounding areas.

Essential Duties and responsibilites:

• Safely Load/Unload, Secure and Transport material & equipment to various locations. Equipment such as Dozers, Scrapers, Track Hoes, etc.
• Follows company safety policies and Federal Motor Carrier policies.
• Comply with DOT hauling permits and regulations
• Maintain completed pre and post trip daily vehicle inspection reports
• Drives safely and efficiently
• Achieve production goals and have equipment available to crews in a timely manner
• Operate heavy equipment in order to load/unload equipment and materials in a safe manner.
• Coordinate closely with customers and employees to access jobs and drop off/pickup areas
• Practice defensive driving and be respectful of all traffic laws
• Provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Must possess a current CDL Class A License with medical certification
• Ability to maneuver around in tight spaces
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including loading, and securement procedures
• Current/Valid driving record with clean MVR
• Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
• Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment, strong verbal communication
• Overtime is required as business dictates
• Typical Hours are M-F (7:00am – 4:30), some Saturdays
