The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving people with epilepsy in 22 counties of northeastern New York including the Capital Region, North Country and Upper Hudson Valley. The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York is an independent affiliate of the National Epilepsy Foundation. The mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. We provide information and referral, comprehensive service coordin...ation, counseling, support groups, school education, and advocacy for individuals and their families in order to maximize their participation in society. We also provide information about epilepsy to professionals in the community through our professional training programs.
