****Position Overview****

Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers needs. We are currently looking for **Laborers** out of our Lyons, NY or Tonawanda, NY locations. These positions will start in May 2022.

****Main Responsibilities****

* General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving

* Cleaning and preparing the construction site and pavement surfaces

* Safely maintain traffic control including flagging duties

* Keep equipment and tools in good working condition

* Work in a team oriented environment

* Perform other duties as assigned to assist the crew

****Qualifications****

* Must have a valid Drivers License and good driving record

* Possession of valid CDL is preferred

* Road construction experience preferred

* Willing and able to travel and stay out of town

* Excellent communication skills required

* Must adhere to all DOT and Midland safety regulations

* Must be able to lift 75 pounds
