East Valley Cardiology was founded in 1990 by Dr. James Ganem. The practice is currently composed of American born and trained cardiologists, all of whom are board certified in both Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. The group also consists of physician's assistant Martha Gurgel, who actively participates in patient care. East Valley Cardiology specializes in the diagnoses and management of diseases of the cardiovascular system. Since the inception of the practice, the philosophy has been to combine the treatment of cardiovascular problems with long-term lifestyle changes.
