Park Ridge Country Club is Hiring a Line Cook Near Park Ridge, IL

Park Ridge Country Club is seeking to add to its culinary team. Park Ridge CC is a private, family-oriented club in the residential area of Park Ridge. We focus on scratch cooking and artisanal practices while creating memorable experiences for our members and guests. The Club operates Tuesday through Sunday with la carte and banquet services. Service hours vary per season.
The Role:
Work on the a la carte kitchen line for lunch or dinner service (depending on position hired for) and execute dishes at the highest level possible;
•Cook and prepare food items to the specifications and standards of the club
•Ensures all standards for safety and sanitation are followed
•Communicates with chefs and team members on production needs, repair issues, and concerns
•Monitor and rotate product for freshness and quality
•Assist in preparation of banquet events as needed
•Perform all other duties assigned by employer
The successful candidate will be a team focused individual who enjoys learning and creating memorable experiences for everyone who walks in the door.

•Ability to cook food correctly in a timely fashion while focusing on quality and presentation
•Able to stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a cook
•Previous experience working a station on a restaurant line
•Knowledge and experience of various cooking techniques (grilling, braising, cold preparation)
•Food Handler Certification is required

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
