Seasonal Sales Associate Job Description Summary

The Sales Associate responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a sales associate, you should stay up to date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards. Enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors and excellent customer service are a must. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service by building relationships with genuine conversation and personal interactions.

Responsibilities

• Support the company culture that ensures radical customer service and high performance is the focus of all activities.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by surpassing our customer's everyday expectations.
• Assess customers’ needs to provide assistance and information on product features.
• Support an environment that places the needs of the customer before any task-oriented job responsibilities.
• Work as a team with co-workers to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience throughout the entire store.
• Maintain store appearance by adequately stocking and performing general housekeeping.
• Continual training on products offered to become expert. Gather & provide feedback to department manager on new product requests to meet customer needs.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Knowledgeable of and follows all store safety procedures
• Peer to Peer Accountability. Serve co-workers and be willing to have courageous conversations as needed for each other’s individual development and growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older with high school degree or equivalent highly preferred
• Proven work experience as a retail sales associate, sales representative or similar role preferred

Schedule Requirements:

• Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work week of November 20-25
• Must be able to work Black Friday (November 24) & Saturday (November 25)
• Must be able to Work during December 15 – January 6
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends
• 3-5 Day work weeks with primarily 8-9-hour shifts.
• Eagle Eye is closed every Sunday.

Physical Demand Requirements:

• Stand/Walk for long periods of time.
• Use of hands for firm and strong grasping. Frequent use of finger dexterity.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to talk, hear, and communicate clearly with co-workers and customers.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 25lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
