Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager in Allentown, Pennsylvania (PA) for a commercial and clinical packaging solutions company for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
Responsibilities for the Project Manager position include:
•Directs and coordinates new product projects, major product changes and other operations projects.
•Coordination of project requirements among all internal company functional areas and communication of project status to Senior Management.
•Responsible for the role of liaison among customers, Sales, Engineering, Quality and Operations concerning project issues.
•Assist in establishing project scope and goals and list of deliverables as required.
•Development of detailed project plans with the input of the Customer, Sales, Validation, Procurement, Engineering, Quality and Operations departments.
•Establishment of Customer and company functional responsibility for each project task.
•Creation of project timelines with critical path and milestones established.
•Management and coordination of project according to plan, timelines and milestones.
•Communication of plan implementation status to Sales, Management, Customer and appropriate internal parties.
Qualifications for the Project Manager position include:
•ERP systems experience
•Project Management in Pharma/Distribution.
•Technical background, (Science or engineering preferred
•Experience with Project management, timeline, budget, mitigate issues, hold meetings
•Good oral and written communication skills
•Ability and or exp with budgets, working through timelines and deliverables
•Comfortable being in a high-profile client facing role (internal and external clients)
•Education- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university ideally in a technical discipline (Packaging Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering) preferred not required
•Project Management Cert. (PMP) a plus
Compensation for the Project Manager position include :
•Salary Range is $65,000-$85,000 dependent upon experience
