We're looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our Grundy County team! This position is full-time and reports to the Tracy City, TN office.

Must live in or be willing to relocate to SVEC's Grundy County service area.

Responsibilities:

• Daily cash handling/ taking payments
• Processing new service requests
• Calculating and discussing billing
• Guiding members through the new construction process, inspections and permits
• Educating members on how to conserve power
• Informing members on cooperative programs
• Explaining ancillary services
• Works well as a team player

Requirements:

• Must have good communications skills and be comfortable interacting with co-op members and staff on a daily basis;
• Minimum two years post high school education;
• Must have three to five years of customer service experience;
• Should be proficient in Microsoft Office software;
• Must have basic accounting and money handling experience;
• Must be able to multitask with ease;
• Must be able to handle high-stress situations;
• Must live in the Grundy County service area or be willing to relocate to the Grundy service area
