The Mechanical Reliability Engineer is the focal point for asset availability, reliability, and integrity across the entire site. The Mechanical Reliability Engineer works closely with the business team to minimize threats to unit production targets.
The successful candidate will work across all engineering and inspection disciplines to drive long-term improvement objectives and day-to-day troubleshooting of refinery assets, including rotating, fixed, and electrical equipment.
Job Responsibilities May Include:
o Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA),
o Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA),
o Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM),
o Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) modeling, and/or
o Life Cycle Cost Analysis
Working Conditions:
o Climb ladders
o Walk up and down steps
o Work at heights
o Work in compact and confined spaces
o Work while wearing a respirator
