What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cost center.
- Provide support services to the cost center team including scheduling meetings, processing mail, opening and closing of files, uploading documents, producing status reports and other general administrative support.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and to prioritize and track deadlines in a busy environment while working independently and as part of a team.
- Assist with research, as needed.
- Prepare bills for cost center clients.
- Communicate with clients and co-counsel delivering an exceptional level of service and connecting them to the appropriate team member when necessary.
- Special projects, as required.
Your Background:
Minimum of 2 years of administrative office experience or internship required. Law firm experience, familiarity with legal terminology and/or real estate/appraisal knowledge or experience considered a plus. Intermediate-to-advanced level Word, Excel, Outlook and database skills and comfortable learning new systems and procedures. Strong math skill and the ability to convert percentages to decimals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with diverse client base in a professional and service-oriented manner. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
