Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies in alignment with our mission and goals.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, providing strategic recommendations and forecasting financial performance.
  • Manage contracts, grants, and agreements for our subsidiary organizations, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for executive management, the board of directors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Optimize cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships to support organizational goals and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support fundraising efforts and organizational growth.
  • Provide strong leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in accounting or finance, with an active CPA license.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in non-profit organizations.
  • Expertise in nonprofit accounting principles, GAAP, and financial reporting.
  • Proven track record in managing state and federal grants, ideally with experience in HRSA grants.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
