Responsibilities
CRJ wants you to join our growing team of compassionate and dependable CNAs to support the wonderful individuals we serve!
- Help our clients to live a full and meaningful life.
- Able to provide hands on ADL care in the shower, toileting, dressing, skin care, etc. as needed.
- Continuously ensure all medical equipment is in proper working order, and report when it is not.
- Drive the handicap van, and transport clients to work, appointment, and activities.
- Monitor on going medical issues regarding catheter care, and skin integrity.
- Taking vital signs.
- Administering (primarily) medications to the clients.
- Assist in planning, food shopping, prep and cooking clients food.
- Preparing paperwork for and attending appointments.
- Potentially, assisting in a therapeutic handicap assessable pool (would need to be in the pool with the clients).
- Would need to think outside the box to encourage client compliance.
- Work directly under an RN, learning, and reporting.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification (Massachusetts)
- Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
- MAP Certified (CRJ provides training)
- PAC Certified (CRJ provides training)
