Core Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in IP Video streaming and Content Delivery (CDN) architecture including familiarity with CDN hardware, software, design, and implementation
- Expertise in HTTP URL structures, Domains, DNS, and Web delivery models using streaming protocols such as HLS and DASH
- Web delivery security knowledge such as Digital Rights Management (DRM), Tokenization, TLS, and Web Application Firewall solutions (WAF)
- Solid understanding of the CDN Industry and key providers such as Akamai, Edgio, Amazon CloudFront, Azure, CacheFly, Fastly, and Cloudflare
- Strong knowledge of Cloud-based processing, Storage, and Origin delivery for IP video and web objects such as AWS S3/CloudFront, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with how Client-Players interact with Streaming Content, Origins, and CDN’s
- Familiarity with Network routing, TCP/IP routing protocols, Network layers, and access control lists (ACLs)
- Utilize modern data tools to regularly assess and report on Origin, Storage, and CDN trending and performance
- Be ready to jump in a help solve operational issues as part of escalations
- Use your refined listening skills to champion customer needs and expectations
- Spend time with customers to understand what they need and why

General Responsibilities
- Analyzes product management activities for several products, or one key product. Serves as a resource to other product managers, assisting them in the resolution of semi-complex problems or may lead them on larger projects.
- Accountable for profit and loss or budgetary management of assigned products.
- Gathers input to define product concepts. Justifies expenditures for products. Defines and analyzes markets.
- Evaluates technologies. Develops detailed product features and requirements and develops implementation plans. Participates in cross-functional teams to envision new product features.
- Coordinates with outside vendors and strategic partners to ensure that product initiatives are well-defined and delivered on time and within budget.
- Reviews pricing strategies to insure company profitability and competition in the marketplace. Performs periodic margin analysis.
- Makes product improvement recommendations to meet changing operational, sales and market needs.
- Coordinates among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that products get to market per specifications, within budget and on schedule.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary:
Pay Range: $89,275.08 - $133,912.63
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
