Full Time and Part Time Contact Center Agents

Operations Center, Willingboro, NJ

Starting Rate: $16.00 an hour; Commensurate with experience.

Our Contact Center Agents are essential here at ABCO as the voice of the credit union.

Therefore, ABCO's interest rates on loans are extremely competitive and the cost (aka fees) for services are generally lower than most commercial banks. ABCO strives to build personalized relationships with the membership and the community.

A Day in the Life of a Contact Center Agent

ABCO Contact Center Agents provide support to the membership in many areas according to policy and procedure. Examples of some of the "care" that you will provide are; Electronic Services such as assisting with the set up of on-line banking, mobile banking, and electronic deposits. Inquiry Services such as transaction inquiries, payroll deposits and loan inquiries. Welcome New Membership and clarify membership benefits. Contact Center Agents are always pleasant and welcoming when interacting with the membership while providing exceptional service promptly and accurately. A calm, professional, and friendly voice and demeanor is an essential requirement to building a positive environment for the members. You will also be required to interact with members via chat, email, and fax. You will collaborate with credit union colleagues for member account research or other operational needs. Therefore, superior verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

Job Qualifications

To be successful as a Contact Center Agent you must possess the following: Contact Center experience or strong customer service background preferred, a professional/friendly and empathetic manner that comes across in your voice and or written communication, strong organizational skills with great attention to detail and accuracy, excellent listening skills and the ability to adapt and work well under pressure, basic mathematical skills a must, knowledge of Windows based computer software programs (i.e. Word, Excel & Outlook Email), minimum correct typing speed of 35-40 words per minute. Must be able to work as team in a fast paced environment.

Full time Contact Center Agents are scheduled 35- 40 hours per week with rotating Saturday hours. This position offers a full comprehensive benefits package. Employees are eligible for credit union membership.

Contact Center Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:45am to 5:15pm.

Saturday's: 8:45am to 1:00pm.
