Job Description
Production Supervisor
Seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee a small group of talented operators in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and explosives. This is a full time, dayshift position [5 days per week with minimal exceptions] with a potential for advancement as qualifications are demonstrated.
Requirements
- Degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
- Experience supervising production in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
- Satisfactory pre-employment physical exam including drug and alcohol screening.
- Acceptable background checks by PA State Police and BATFE.
- Valid driver’s license.
Experience in these areas is a plus:
- Propellants and explosives.
- Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Process Safety Management.
- Supervising a union work force.
- Oracle.
