Job Function: This position is responsible for exposing boards, developing boards, loading and unloading ovens, operating nomi machine and preparing and inspecting LPI films by performing the following duties.

Shift: Swing (2pm-10:30pm) and Grave (10pm-6:30am)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepares bare circuit board for ink application by scrubbing or chemical cleaning.
2. Screens each board according to customer specifications and bakes screened boards according to ink manufacturer's recommendation.
3. Exposes and develops boards.
4. Loads and unloads ovens.
5. Operates nomi printer.

JOB DUTIES

• Inspects finished film for flaws and imperfections before exposure.
• Reads and follows work orders and specifications for each job.
• Prepares screen for ink application.
• Verifies and labels film with part/rev numbers.
• Cleans, maintains, organizes, and files films as needed.
• Makes diazo films from Photo's silvers on plate-maker.
• Inspects finished film for flaws and imperfections.
• Prepares film for shooting by cleaning, removing flaws, punching alignment holes and sometimes coating.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English safety instructions, company polices and operational instructions.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
