Full-time working 80 hours/two weeks; Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Primarily remote, on-site presence as needed

We are looking for a motivated team player to join our Compensation team. If you are passionate about analytical processes and have a high interest in delivering services through a Total Rewards Community of Expertise (COE), then this is the role for you.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration and implementation of the compensation programs within CentraCare
  • Facilitate the processing of job descriptions by reviewing new and revised job descriptions, maintaining the descriptions, communicating changes to appropriate personnel, updating status reports, and maintaining Joint Commission and other compliance
  • Process employee actions relating to pay, to include: promotions, demotions, and lateral transfers
  • Includes performance of related tasks of auditing for completion, scanning, emailing, and tracking follow-up
  • Utilizes the compensation software system to review data, extract data, audit data, and answer customer questions
  • Assist in the completion of compensation surveys through a variety of data entry and submission processes
  • Assist in compensation program development and job evaluation
  • Runs reports and performs routine analysis of the market data for decision making
  • Membership on project teams with assigned HR colleagues to solve compensation practice and policy challenges

What you'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business/Human Resources or related field required
  • One or more years previous experience in human resources required
  • Strong analytical and computational skills using spreadsheets
  • Detail oriented, organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Competency in Excel and Word
  • Able to prioritize and plan work activities to efficiently use your time
  • Experience with compensation or in a healthcare industry preferred
  • Three or more years' experience in human resources preferred
