The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all facets of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development. As a key member of the leadership team, the HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s culture and supporting its continued expansion.
Responsibilities
- Partner with managers to identify workforce needs, recruiting strategy and lead team to staff according to plan.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related issues including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures that comply with labor laws.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances and take appropriate courses of action.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to improve performance and achieve organizational goals.
- Process weekly payroll.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, and HRIS data.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related reports and documentation as required.
- Administer benefits, FMLA, and company paid medical leave.
- Create engaging and informational content for Managers on company SharePoint site.
- Partner with internal leadership to develop programs to meet company goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or working with HRIS.
- Understanding of federal and MN state labor laws and regulations.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and HR data management best practices.
- Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.
