Reporting Relationship

The Dynamic Storage Sales Associate will report directly to the Specialty Product Sales Manager. This position will work to develop a working relationship with all groups within and outside of Steel King Industries, Inc.

General Responsibilities

· Assist customers in understanding dynamic storage solutions.

· Build relationships with customer and dealer accounts.

· Work with Specialty Product Sales Manager. and dealers gathering information on projects to be quoted by SKI

· Ensure that Steel King products are designed to applicable building codes and design specifications.

· Prepare Dynamic system quotations for SKI dealers and Specialty Product Sales Manager. Follow up on Dynamic system quotations as directed by Specialty Product Sales Manager.

· Additional duties may include reviewing and creating AutoCAD drawings, material takeoffs, processing custom-engineered orders, project management, order write-up, and field assessments.

· Work with outside vendors to obtain pallet testing for projects.

Corporate Responsibilities

· Maintain Steel King’s Core Values on a daily basis and in all interactions with Steel King personnel, distributors, customers, and visitors.

· Identify opportunities to improve Steel King Industries market share through new products, competitive design and pricing.

· Develop teamwork amongst Regional Managers, Inside Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and Accounting.

· Support the corporate goals and objectives.

Other Responsibilities

· This position could require occasional travel.

· Assist in the efforts to educate distributor sales personnel regarding Steel King capabilities and procedures, product knowledge, application information, sales strategies and tactics.

· Educate distributors, customers and Steel King personnel in the safe use of our product

· Any related tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Inside Sales, Vice President of Sales and/or the Executive Committee of Steel King Industries, Inc.

Work Environment

This position operates in an office environment, is fairly sedentary, requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners and photocopiers.

Education and Skills

· Ability to BS in an engineering related field or experience in the racking industry

· work cooperatively in and amongst teams.

· Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, CAD and other programs.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with thorough attention to detail.

· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and deadlines with little supervision.

· Apply skills to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

· Possess sound judgement and decision-making skills.

· Read, analyze, and interpret documents such as Request for Proposals(RFPs), Standard Operating Procedures (Work Instructions), and Company Policies.

· Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely manner.
