In this position, your primary responsibility will be growing a practice through the execution of investment banking engagements, new business development, and relationship management. How you will contribute:

• Managing investment banking transactions
• Deal origination and engagement execution for mergers & acquisitions, debt and equity financing, company divestitures, and strategic options analysis engagements
• Client/prospect interactions
• Developing internal and external relationships to source M&A transactions, prepare and deliver client/prospect presentations, working closely with FORVIS partners/managers and initiatives groups in developing client relationships and marketing strategies
• Marketing support
• Preparing and implementing business development strategies including, participating in corporate finance-related industry conferences and public speaking opportunities, assisting in developing articles, marketing letters, news releases, and other avenues to generate exposure and build the brand
• Team building
• Contributing to a high-performing national investment banking practice through active coaching, mentoring, and recruiting

We are looking for people with Forward Vision and:

• Significant client interaction and experience, particularly showing the ability to develop strong and influential client relationships
• Willingness and ability to travel when necessary

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics or an MBA
• The FINRA Series 79 and 63
• Extensive prior experience at a market-leading investment banking firm with experience in middle-market transactions, preferably in mergers and acquisitions
• Experience in industries such as manufacturing & distribution, food & beverage, technology, business services, and healthcare
• Thorough knowledge of sell-side and buy-side representation, debt/equity/distressed restructurings, deal structuring, and capital raising
• Previous success and proven track record in new business development and closing investment banking transactions (book of business contacts)

New York City Pay Transparency

Pursuant to the pay transparency laws of New York State and other local ordinances within the state including (but not limited to) New York City, the salary range displayed is for the New York markets. The salary for this role will be based on the experience, education, and skill set of the individual for the position. Total compensation and benefits consist of salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to make changes to the salary range based on business needs.
