We are seeking a highly skilled optician/manager to lead our luxury eyewear store. As the optician manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the optical teams performance and ensuring exceptional patient care and service delivery. 

Responsibilities include team leadership, lead mentor and motivate staff to achieve departmental goals and provide outstanding customer service.

Drive sales by effectively communicating with customers to understand their needs and recommending appropriate eyewear solutions. Train staff on effective sales techniques and product knowledge. 

 Overseeing the dispensing of eyeglasses and contact lenses ensuring accurate measurements fittings and adjustments for optimal vision correction and comfort. 

Manage inventory levels, ordering, and tracking of optical products including framed lenses and contact lenses ensure accurate inventory accounts and minimize stock shortages. 

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries revolving issues and handling complaints promptly and professionally. Lead by example in delivering a positive patient experience. 

Develop training programs and contact regular staff training to enhance product knowledge technical skills and customer service abilities. 

Qualifications: 

Licensed optician in the state of New York 

Proven experience as an optician or optical manager 

Strong knowledge of optical products, lens options, envision correction techniques. 

Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills. 

Ability to multitask prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment. 

Efficiency and optical equipment operation and computer systems 

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.
