Front Desk Coordinator - Boutique Optical & Eye Clinic

Eyes on the Square is a beautiful, modern, upscale, Christian-owned private optometry practice and optical shop on the Downtown Bentonville Square. We are hiring a full-time Front Desk Coordinator.

Starting pay is $18 /hr, based on experience. There is opportunity for growth in the future for motivated individuals.

The candidate we're seeking is both professional and bubbly! This person needs to be a natural communicator and able to think on their feet to problem solve. This role requires someone who is organized, detail oriented, and enthusiastic about excellence and learning new things, as extensive on the job training will be provided. No eye care experience is required, but it is appreciated. We’re looking for great character and a willingness to learn above all else!

What You’ll Do

As our Front Desk Coordinator, you’ll be the face of Eyes on the Square, warmly welcoming our patients and ensuring each visit runs smoothly. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Front Desk & Patient Flow

• Greeting guests and managing schedules
• Checking patients in/out and reviewing necessary paperwork
• Communicating with patients via phone, text, fax, email, and occasionally mail

Insurance & Administration

• Pulling and verifying patient insurance benefits (vision and medical)
• Ordering contact lenses and entering new inventory
• Submitting insurance claims and applying relevant discounts

Optical Support

• Verifying finished eyewear for quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, organized office environment (a true team effort!)

Hours & Application Details

Hours (Not Flexible):

• Full-time, approximately 40 hours/week
• Monday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• Closed Saturdays & Sundays
