Valley View Hospital is Hiring a PRN Patient Services Specialist for Valley View's Imaging Department Near Glenwood Springs, CO
Job Description
Valley View's busy Imaging Center is seeking a Day PRN, patient-focused Patient Services Specialist with excellent customer service skills to be the first contact for our patients. Previous Customer Service experience in a medical setting highly preferred.
This position is for WEEKDAYS; no evenings, no nights, no weekends, no holidays.
Responsibilities include: providing patients with professional and friendly reception duties; organizing patient flow; keeping Imaging providers and patients on schedule; maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner; and handling phone calls for the department, techs, and providers appropriately. Patient care background and medical scheduling experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clerical: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone
- Exceptional customer service skills required
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Receptionist/clerical experience required
- Patient care background and/or medical scheduling experience preferred.
SALARY
- $19.00 - $27.75/hour 14% PRN Differential.
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
- $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
- $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
- Starting salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
