Ballentine Partners is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Training Specialist to join our growing team.


Responsibilities include:


· Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers and colleagues

· Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of skill training for employees

· Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers’ specific needs to maintain or improve job skills

· Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.

· Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.

· Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.

· Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.

· Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

The right candidate will be someone who has the following skills:


· Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods

· Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives

· Ability to design and implement effective training and development

· Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

· Can take initiative and act proactively (i.e., anticipates problems, raises suggestions)

· Can work both independently and in a team structure with a diverse group of people

· Can juggle and prioritize a variety of tasks daily

· Is highly organized with a very strong attention to detail

· Has strong verbal and written communication skills

· Has strong presentation skills

· Has excellent interpersonal & relationship skills including a positive and collegial attitude


A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Ballentine Partners compensation is made up of a base salary and performance bonus. The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 and is commensurate with experience. Performance bonuses are based upon company and personal performance and are paid out annually.
