BAE Systems is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor II to join an intermingled team of engineers, technologists and military veterans. This position will be located in Mount Laurel, NJ where Technology and Teamwork come together! The qualified candidate will provide Technical Editor support to the Test & Evaluation (T&E) Division Head at Aegis Technical Representative (AEGIS TECHREP) in Moorestown, NJ.

Candidate's primary role will involve support of the US Navy and specifically the TECHREP customer in verification of various design performance aspects involving the integration of the AEGIS Weapon System with Ballistic Missile Defense functionality in an AEGIS Combat System environment. The activity will feature customer support with test program implementation, execution, analysis, and report out in support of government computer program certification decisions. The selected candidate will be expected to apply technical writing expertise to assist with the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documentation including test procedures, reports, presentations, and white papers. The successful candidate must demonstrate applicable talent supporting an ability to maintain configuration management and an archive record for all technical documentation.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 years of related work experience, Associate's Degree and at least 4 years of related work experience or a Bachelor's Degree with preference given to the English or Technical Writing degrees.

Security clearance requirement: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). The selected candidate will receive a contingent offer and start date will be delayed until after the clearance is granted.

Also required:

• Working knowledge / ability with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Office applications.
• Selected candidate must be possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work independently as required.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Active DoD security clearance.

Ability to interpret government technical documents and style guides.
