Pagliais Pizza & Pasta in Carbondale, IL is looking for one pizza and pasta preparation associate to join our 25 person strong team. We are located on 509 S Illinois Ave. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged. We are looking for a conscientious person who genuinely cares about the quality of their work and the clients and colleagues they serve.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of pizza and pasta ingredients. Cooking Spaghetti sauce, chopping, cutting and slicing ingredients. This involves making dough, grinding cheese and sausage. Preparation of pasta boats and cooking pasta as well as preparing the restaurant for opening as well as receiving deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have a foodservice management certification that is current.
• Reliable, on time and are committed to serving excellence with a can do, open-minded attitude. We appreciate previous experience but we need that set aside to allow our tradition to be served to the community 7 days a week.
