Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain client relationships through frequent visits and contact with potential and existing customers within a designated territory.
- Present and sell company products to current and potential clients, focusing on vape products and accessories.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Educate clients on product knowledge, new offerings, and industry trends.
- Negotiate terms of sales and service agreements, including pricing and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local laws and regulations pertaining to the sale of cannabis products.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demand.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to resolve any client concerns or issues promptly.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads and stay informed on market conditions and competition.
- Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Continuously improve through feedback and self-driven education on the cannabis industry and sales techniques.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age (or as per local regulations)
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the cannabis industry or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of industry trends
- Strong understanding of state and local cannabis laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with past and present clients
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory
- Availability to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends, as required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to continuously learn about new products and industry changes
- Willing to go through a background check
