**In partnership with the University of Arizona, the Division of Endocrinology at Banner University Medicine is actively** recruiting a Program Director for their Fellowship program. The successful candidate will join an expanding division of Endocrinology and will support the clinical and educational missions of the College of Medicine-Phoenix and the Department of Internal Medicine-Endocrinology.

The selected individual will have responsibility, authority, and accountability for administration, operations; teaching and scholarly activity; as well as recruitment selection and fellow education in the context of patient care.

The fellowship program is a 2-year program with 3 fellows entering the program every year.

The fellowship is a combined program at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix and the Carl T. Hayden Veterans' Administration Medical Center-Phoenix. An enthusiastic commitment to teaching and mentoring is essential.

**Some details include:**

Performs inpatient and outpatient clinical care

IP consults on rotating basis

Supervision and promotion of fellows

Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows

Conduct evaluations and disciplinary action

Department will support Program Director with administrative time commensurate with duties

**Minimum Qualifications:**

M.D. or D.O. degree

Arizona medical license obtained by start date

BC in Endocrinology

3 years experience as an Academic Faculty

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Significant Scholarly involvement

Proven clinical and teaching skills

Current/recent leadership involvement in a residency or fellowship program
