Aqua Star (USA), Corp. is a Seattle based privately-owned, American seafood company founded in 1990. We are a leading global frozen seafood sales, marketing, and distribution enterprise. We serve food service customers, such as restaurant chains and seafood distributors, as well as retail customers: food retailers, retail wholesalers, & club warehouses.

We are seeking an experienced an experience candidate with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 development and customization, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to meet business needs. You will play a crucial role in the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics AX solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 solutions based on business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements for system enhancements

• Write, modify, and maintain code in X to enhance the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009
• Write, modify, and maintain T-SQL code to enhance reporting and Dynamics AX 2009 data mining requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all customizations and developments.

• Integrate Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 with other enterprise applications, using AIF and other tools ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability
• Develop and implement data migration strategies

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009-related issues
• Provide EDI technical support as required
• Collaborate with end-users to identify and resolve system issues promptly

• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute upgrades and patches for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009
• Perform regular system maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance

• Conduct thorough testing of customizations and developments to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Work closely with Aqua Star departments to address and resolve any identified issues

• Train end-users on new functionalities and features
• Share knowledge and expertise with other team members to promote continuous learning and development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as a Dynamics AX 2009 Developer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong proficiency in X programming language
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 architecture and customization capabilities
• Experience with data migration and integration strategies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics AX certifications
• Experience with other versions of Dynamics AX (e.g., D365)
• Familiarity with related Microsoft technologies (SQL Server, .NET)
