SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Allied Interior Solutions is seeking a people-focused, execution-oriented Director of

Installation / Field Services. The Director’s main priorities will be to standardize field

operations, collaborate with stakeholders to align and provide clear strategic priorities, and

lead the implementation of a new customer service platform. They will be an engaged leader

and a change champion, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and provide solutions to our

customers

Essential Functions: Leadership:

• Lead the Installation / Field Services department for Allied Interior Solutions.

• Employee development, including coaching, mentoring, and finding opportunities for

improvement, at both the individual contributor and manager levels

• Inspire exemplary followership via action and integrity; build a winning team culture focused

in continuous improvement

• Consistently work to build an effective team via detailed employee development plans and

by supporting the recruitment of top talent

• Foster a culture of “Extreme Ownership” and accountability, ensuring associates understand

their objectives and are provided with the tools and guidance needed to succeed

• Motivate employees and drive cohesive cross-functional work atmosphere with a positive

attitude

• Provide leadership and support to resolve high-pressure customer service issues, including

product performance issues

Operations:

• Employ a data driven approach to problem solving, ensuring strategic decision-making

utilizing reporting and analytics tools

• Develop and implement effective KPI’s to measure and improve accountability; provide

clarity regarding inefficiencies, and drive the overall performance of the department

• Manage items with significant impact to top line revenue and cost reduction; provide robust

support for overall business growth

• Act as a clear advocate for the customer and as a steward for the company, following up to

ensure expectations of internal and external customers are exceeded

• Identify systemic business issues and leverage team expertise and problem-solving tools to

identify root-causes; effectively manage and implement countermeasures to drive a

sustainable business advantage

• Ensure all processes are documented and improved

• Develop and drive accountability around daily management and monthly KPIs

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TRAINING):

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field

Required Experience:

  • 5 years of prior leadership experience required, specifically in field service management,

technical management, multi-location management role that requires customer interaction

  • 3 years of cabinetry experience required

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience interacting with builders and subcontractors strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience challenging the status quo, driving change, and presenting a clear vision of the future state

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of the impact of customer perception on current and future business
  • Able and willing to travel to our field locations throughout the United States

Work Environment: This position will be performed in both an office environment, as well as on active job sites.


Physical Demands: This position will involve walking, standing, and navigating construction sites, as well as lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Travel Required: This position will require travel to job sites across the Dallas-fort Worth metro area, as well as to our other office locations in Texas (Austin, Houston, Lubbock, and DeSoto) and Oklahoma (Durant)
