Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team in Alaska for the 2024 season. The ideal candidate will assist in the logistics of receiving, storing, organizing and delivering of inventory in accordance with orders and schedules. Additional responsibilities may entail the loading of orders onto trucks for delivery, organizing incoming/outgoing stock, and providing assistance at other TKG locations in Alaska.

The Seasonal Logistics Associate position is expected to run from April to end of October.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor incoming orders
• Use a Pallet Jack
• Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively
• Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
• Arrange/stock materials and product
• Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Communicate with Directors, managers, customers, etc. to ensure correct delivery of items
• Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be required, as necessary.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
• Must know how to use a Pallet Jack
• Proven experience as a Logistics Associate or similar position
• Ability to work with little supervision and multi-task
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Documentation skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependability and Time Management

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Skagway, AK: Relocate before starting work (Required)
