In 1998, AK opened its first branch in Monterrey, Mexico as AK Contratistas Industriales Mexico, S.A. de C.V. servicing a host of businesses that benefited from the NAFTA treaty between Mexico, Canada and the U.S. That decision has proved worthwhile as AK has helped customers move south of the border in a quick, efficient and safe manner.
