As part of our Metrology Services offering, we offer full-time Gage Calibration and Management technicians th that are enbedded at customer facilities. Master Gage & Tool Co. is looking for someone to represent us in an Orangeburg, SC manufacturing facility, providing complet gage and calibration management services Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm..

Job Function:

Calibration Technician to perform and manage all plant wide calibrations onsite at customers

Employment:

Full Time

The Metrology Services Technician will work on-site at a customer location in Orangeburg, SC. The technician will be responsible for the meeting the calibration schedule of customer gaging through the facility. The technician will work as a team member with the customer and a liaison with MG&T. The technician will also be responsible to coordination of all subcontracted and OEM calibration services to meet calibration deadlines. This technician will report to the MG&T lab manager on a as needed basis. Calibration services will include, but not limited to hand tools, fixed limit gage calibration, and major equipment, production gaging, electronic gages, and any other facility gaging Responsibilities will also include;

• Cleaning, labeling, recording data for all calibration items.
• Maintaining updated calibration procedures.
• Maintenance of calibration equipment used for onsite calibration.
• Generate certs and or reports for calibration items.
• Document calibration sin customer gage tracking system

Desired Skill and Expertise:

Dimensional, Electronic and Pressure Calibration, Previous work experience with high accuracy calibration equipment, Quality Control, In-Depth experience with calibration of inspection hand tools, Mathematics Skills and Blueprint reading experience.

Desired Education:

Community College or Military with Metrology Experience
