American Building Contractors is looking for a full or part-time Canvassing Lead to join our Burnsville, MN team. Construction, customer service or sales experience is not required, hands-on experience and mentorship is part of the position! Independence and confidence meeting and talking with new people, as well as comfortability getting on roofs is important.

Full Description

As a Canvassing Lead, you will go door-to-door meeting with prospective clients and inspecting roofs for storm related damage. Leads identify and document damage to report to our sales team for insurance submission. We are looking for someone who is a good communicator and driven. The normal day for our leads is very active and social. This is an independent self-motivated position with a flexible schedule and commission-based pay that would include weekend hours. Most of the work is done in the field of the greater Twin Cities area. Applicants are expected to have a driver’s license and a vehicle. Every lead works with our top-of-industry veteran sales team that manage projects after clients contract the work. Our salespeople are extremely valuable mentors for our leads to develop or refine the skill set for a sales position, as well as knowledge of the construction industry and general contracting process. This is an excellent position for someone looking to grow their sales experience on their resume or individuals looking to fill seasonal work openings.
