Junior Business andFinancial Operations Specialist (Group 3) – Scott AFB

As a Junior Business and Financial OperationsSpecialist, you will work on the client site at ScottAFB/southern IL. You will be instrumental in assisting our senior teammembers in executing functions crucial for improving business processes,addressing financial management system deficiencies, and strengthening internalcontrols.

What will you do

You will play a keyrole in supporting audit responses, financial reporting, and operationalefficiency improvements. Through your contributions, we aim to achieve enhancedperformance in audit responses and better management of obligations andresources.

Responsibilities:

·Assist in the preparation of accurate and reliable financialstatements and supporting documentation.

·Support audit engagement activities, including coordination withstakeholders and development of corrective action plans.

·Participate in the improvement of internal control processes andpolicies.

·Contribute to information technology support efforts, includingdata management and analysis.

·Aid in the documentation and reporting of financial andoperational activities.

·Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with GAAP andother relevant standards.

Requirements:

• Active Interim / Completed Secret Clearance or higher
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in financial operations, business processes, or audit support.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and internal control frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with financial management systems.
