Job Posting for Service Manager - Network Operations at Experis IT Luxembourg
Experis IT Luxembourg is actively looking for a Service Manager – Network Operations (m/f) for one of its clients in Luxembourg.
Main tasks:
Oversee the end-to-end management of the service. Drive service evolution and innovation, support the adoption of new technologies and modernization such as infrastructure migration management. Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs and ITIL best practices, and propose continuous improvements. Lead incident, problem and change management processes. Identify and implement automation solutions for operational efficiency. Monitor and analyze network performance. Act as the main point of contact between our client, suppliers and operational teams, and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers. Organize and lead regular service review meetings. Ensure effective documentation and knowledge management.
Skills required:
Proven experience (5 years) in IT service management. Experience in large-scale network infrastructure migration and modernization. Expertise in SDN solutions (Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, OpenStack, etc.)OR in DNS, load balancing (F5), proxies and virtualizationOR in WAN technologies such as MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN and cloud-based network solutions.Knowledge of cloud networking concepts. In-depth knowledge of network protocols, IP addressing, routing, traffic management and QoS. Experience in automating network operations. Proficiency in ITIL practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. C1 level English Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical people.
