T9-Specialist is looking for enthusiastic Event Staff to join our dynamic team in Manchester. In this role, you will play a crucial part in organizing and executing events for various non-profit organisations, helping to raise awareness and support for important causes. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including logistical coordination, setup, and breakdown of event spaces.
  • Engage with attendees during events, providing information about the non-profit organisations we represent and encouraging participation and donations.
  • Collaborate with the event management team to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly, from registration to on-site support.
  • Maintain a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that all attendees feel valued and engaged throughout the event.
  • Collect feedback from attendees and relay insights to the management team for continuous improvement of future events.
  • Support promotional activities before, during, and after events, including social media coverage, photography, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring all financial procedures are followed.
  • Stay informed about the missions and activities of the non-profit organisations represented, enabling you to effectively communicate their goals and needs to event attendees.

Requirements

  • Full right to work in the UK (no Tier 4 or PSW visas).
  • Must not have applied within the last 30 days.
  • Previous experience in event management or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations during events.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
