Senior Estates Officer

South Hams and West Devon Councils are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Estate Management professional to join an organisation which offers a great working environment, opportunities to use their knowledge and skills to benefit and enhance the wider community and play a crucial part in managing a varied and interesting property portfolio.

The Senior Estates Officer is an integral member of the Councils’ Land and Property Team. Within that, the Estates team provides a full asset management service, including the granting of leases and managing of tenants, to being responsible for optimising the beneficial use of both Councils’ land and property across South Hams and West Devon.

The role is primarily focused on general Commercial and Public Realm Estate Management but works across the Council with other colleagues, to support the delivery of built environment projects.

The role requires the post holder to undertake regular site visits, inspections, surveys, and associated meetings throughout the locality of South Hams and West Devon.
