Barista (Part-time)

Barista Sunderland - SaffronSip **Job Description:** We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team at SaffronSip. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages with precision and attention to detail. - Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and making recommendations based on customer preferences. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar and equipment. - Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently. - Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed. - Engage with customers to foster a friendly environment and promote loyalty. - Uphold quality standards and ensure consistent beverage presentation. - Handle cash and process transactions accurately. **Qualifications:** - Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred. - Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. - A passion for coffee and customer service. - Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. **Benefits:** - Potential salary increase with progressive tenure. - Employee discounts on beverages and food. - A supportive and friendly team environment.
