A typical Omniplex cinema location ranges from 4 - 14 screens and are in most major cities and towns in Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is a part time position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the cinema operation including efficient day-to-day control of all cinema activities.
TYPICAL DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES
A cinema general staff member is responsible for
- Cash Handling
- Concessions
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Front of house
- Maintaining upkeep of auditoria
- Ticketing Office
KEY AREAS FOR TRAINING
Full training will be provided in the following key areas:
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIRED
No work experience necessary, but retail experience is preferred.
KEY SKILLS FOR CINEMA GENERAL STAFF
Personal qualities such as good problem solving, organisational, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are important. All candidates must be confident, commercially aware and capable of forming good relationships with a wide range of people. Good business and IT skills are also important. Cinema staff must be able to work fully flexible hours and must be over the age of 18 years to comply with cinema licensing laws.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
