We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Packer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently pack and prepare bread products for delivery, ensuring that each item meets our quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Packing Bread Products: Carefully pack various types of bread and bakery items into designated packaging, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Quality Control: Inspect bread products for consistency, size, and quality before packing. Report any defects or inconsistencies to the supervisor.
• Labelling: Accurately label packed products with necessary information such as product type, expiration date, and batch number.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of packaging supplies and inform the supervisor when stock is low.
• Order Fulfilment: Prepare and pack orders according to customer specifications and delivery schedules.
• Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised packing area. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the baking team to ensure timely and efficient packing of products. Communicate effectively to address any issues that may arise.
• Documentation: Complete and maintain necessary records related to packing and order fulfilment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a bakery, food production, or similar environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
