HSE Manager

HRGO is recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Health Safety and Environmental Manager (HSE Manager) for our client in Southport. You will be working for a growing business, supporting them in producing high quality products while maintaining a health and safety conscious work environment. Our client is committed to excellence in all aspects of its operations, of which the HSE Manager will play a key part.

Job Title: HSE Manager

Location: Southport

Pay: £30,000 per annum

Hours: 8am-4.30pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with current legislation across all sites
Deliver and improve HSE standards, procedures and policies required by ISO
Maintaining accurate and reliable health & safety records
Carry out regular inspections and risk assessments
Assist with training programmes for employees
Generate monthly reports to show performance for each site
Ensure environmental legislative requirements are met
Take ownership of Risk Management Approach to each process flow and all activities in all departments

Requirements

Experience working in a HSE role in a manufacturing environment is essential
Strong knowledge of ISO
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
