Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Acupuncturist to join our holistic healthcare practice in providing traditional Chinese medicine treatments to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting wellness through acupuncture and other complementary therapies.
Duties
- Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their health concerns
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on traditional Chinese medicine principles
- Performing acupuncture treatments using sterile needles to stimulate specific points on the body
- Providing advice on lifestyle modifications, including nutrition and exercise, to support overall health and well-being
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Accredited qualification in Acupuncture
- Full membership with a recognised professional body
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
