Care Assistant- No experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while maintaining a positive and encouraging environment for our clients.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in activities of daily living.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Follow care plans meticulously to ensure that each client receives the appropriate level of care.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care tailored to each individual's needs.
• Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as necessary.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
• Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients.
• Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping are desirable.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care in a respectful and dignified manner is essential.

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
